SITUATION
Since the United Kingdom upgraded its security from “severe” to “critical” in the wake of the Ariana Grande pop concert bombing in Manchester on May 22nd that killed 22 people and injuring 64 others, four arrests have been made.
In East London, where three men were arrested at their home and the other on his way home, on account of allegedly plotting acts of terrorism. The arrest effort was a joint Scotland Yard’s counter-terrorism command and MI5 pre-planned sting that thwarted two alleged plots last month in London.

CHALLENGE
British Prime Minister Theresa May raised the terror threat to critical on May 23rd to “critical” as she warned that a second attack was imminent, the highest level in a decade.
Security authorities also reported that, Salman Abedi, the Manchester bomber was connected to a terror network that carried out the attacks in Brussels and Paris. It’s very clear this is a network we are investigating,” said Ian Hopkins, Manchester Chief Constable.
Deliberations among authorities regarding the arrests will include weighted decisions on whether the release of suspects to continue their daily routine with the hope of gathering more evidence vis-à-vis the risk to public safety
In April, two separate terror related arrests were made in one day alone. One man in Westminster, who is currently facing charges and other in North West London, where three women were charged, although one was shot in the operation; according to the Guardian.
