Ansbach suicide bombing: String of terrorist attack hit Germany
Sunday 24th, July 2016, a suicide bomber who died and left 15 others injured in a blast outside a music festival in Ansbach, southern Germany.
According to Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann said Monday, that a video pledging allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was found on the attacker’s phone.
Joachim Herrmann said that according to an initial translation of the Arabic-language video, the man announced a “revenge” attack against Germany. “I think that after this video there’s no doubt that the attack was a terrorist attack with an Islamist background,” said Herrmann.
The attacker, 27, killed himself was an asylum seeker, he detonated a rucksack of explosives outside a music festival in Ansbach on Sunday.
Ax train attack Monday July 18th, Wurzburg (left 4 people hospitalized and 1 in induced coma); the shopping mall shooting, Friday 22nd, Munich (left 9 people dead and himself); Machete attack Sunday, July 24th, Reutlingen (left 1 Polish woman dead); and suicide bomber attack July 24th, Ansbach Germany, is the latest in string of attacks to hit Germany in a week. All of which are particularly related to a revenge “cause” and support for ISIS.
In the latest of the attacks, authorities reveal that the Syrian applied for asylum in 2014 but was his petition was denied 2 weeks ago. Authorities said, he was scheduled to be deported to Bulgaria where he had been initially offered a refugee status but authorities suspended the process after paper work submitted revealed medical records showing he had mental problems. However, the process recommenced on 13th of July.
Police Authority earlier accounts, said the attacker had been arrested for a mild drug offence and were also called for two suicide attempt.
In another source from CNN, a neighbor (Mahmood) said the suspect (Daleel), had told him he was a little worried over being sent back to Bulgaria but didn’t seem overly stressed. He seemed eager to work and wanted a job at McDonald’s.
What is the trend here? Seemingly otherwise normal people carrying out their daily lives and struggles only to turn to certain beliefs and ideology as a solution. A violent one at that.
As immigration and law enforcement officers were unable to piece together behavioral trends and probable network associations since his application for asylum 2 years ago, intelligence gathering begs for alternative solutions. Acquiring critical data in a timely, safe and in a non-invasive manner is key to understanding or piecing together very quickly complex or lone plots, potential hate crime or terrorist activities, behavioral issues or vindication of alleged suspects. This is where Brain Fingerprinting becomes the most valuable intelligence gathering tool.
WHY BRAIN FINGERPRINTING
In just 1hr of testing with Brain Fingerprinting technology, can reveal knowledge or possible intent of an action of an individual. Brain Fingerprinting is a highly advanced technology apparatus that offers an objective and knowledge-based means of identification. By analyzing specific brain responses called the P300 and P300 MERMER, the solution safely and non-invasively verifies whether the information contained in the person’s account is present in his/her brain. Inversely, the system can detect the information a suspect would deny knowing terrorist affiliations and probe behavioral façades.
The capability to detect whether specific information is stored in a person’s brain is unparalleled—no other security solution in the world offers a powerful specific screening solution that is able to efficiently answer to the crisis of terrorism that is spreading across the globe. Investigation and background checks are exorbitantly time-consuming, interrogation is most often unreliable, and biometric identification cannot reveal what information the person is harboring.
Investigators now are faced with ever more growing number of lone wolves, therefore access for investigative purposes becomes increasingly difficult. It is almost as if violent crimes are becoming the new the norm in society today. This is a problem especially with high profile suspects. Law enforcement agents need an alternative source of intelligence gathering to collect and analyze critical information. This information could disrupt or foil a terrorist attack or hate crimes before it develops, making it extremely harder for future plots. Brain Fingerprinting is an advanced means of getting intelligence, eliminating number of suspects, highly accurate tool to corroborate/ cross verify assumptions and leads. So why wait 2 years to decide on an individual’s case when Brain Fingerprinting technology can help?
