German authorities have detained three suspects following an explosion occurred outside an office of the far-right Alternative for Germany party (AfD) in Dobeln, Saxony. The AfD office building as well as two neighboring building and two parked cars were damaged; fortunately, nobody was hurt. There were a string of attacks against AfD offices in the eastern state of Saxony in recent weeks, but most of them were restricted to vandalism but this explosion demonstrates the progress of crime against politicians.
Saxony’s LKA criminal investigation office stated its anti-terrorism unit had determined that the explosion was an escalation in politically motivated attacks targeting AfD offices that are usually limited to acts of vandalism. The LKA’s anti-terrorism unit still investigative the incident. LKA further added that the German men, aged 29,32 and 50, are suspected of detonating an “unknown substance” with the intended to harm people.
Saxony’s Interior Minister Roland Woller said the state would not endure such attacks and guaranteed a severe response. Roland said, “We are dealing with a completely new level of violence against politicians.”
Martin Dulig, Saxony ‘deputy prime minister said,” Violence is not a means of democracy. The AfD must be challenged politically and not with explosives. This attack helps the AfD and hurts democracy.”
It’s not the first-time offices of AfD have been targeted. The most recent incident occurred in December last year when unknown perpetrators threw slabs against the window. There is an internal war going on in Germany. Other political motivated means to attack political parties or personnel is through cyber-crime. Unidentified hackers have hacked data and documents belonging to hundreds of German politicians and posted online. According to Local Media, the victims of the leaks are Chancellor Angela Merkel, President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and all parties in parliament except the far-right Alternative for Germany.
The level of politically motivated crime in Germany has hit an all-time high as the left- and right-wing clash over the refugee crisis, terrorism and the coming election. Thomas de Maiziere, the German interior minister said approximately 41,500 political crimes have been recorded last year and around 4,300 of them were violent.
Thomas said, “We will use the full force of the law against those who reject our legal system.”
The important question in the above statement is how to identity them? As the refugee crisis is among the serious issue where pro-and anti-migrant protesters clash especially in Saxony. The far right-wing political parties criticized Chancellor Angela Merkel’s decision to open Germany’s borders to refugees.
German Analysts believe the steep rise in crime is due to arrival of immigrants. According to the country’s interior ministry, an average of nearly 10 attacks a day were carried on refugees. Most of the attacks are rumored to link to AfD party as parts of AfD have racist, Islamophobic, anti-Semitic and xenophobic. Even the German Spy Chief is accused of sharing sensitive information with AfD. Germany’s left-wing Die Linke party blamed the violence in Germany on far-right extremists and called for the government to take stronger action. They believe even the recent Cyber-crime against all the parties of parliament to be planned or executed by far-right Alternative for Germany.
It is understood that in order to control the political instability in Germany as stated by Thomas de Maiziere and Roland Woller, Germany’s leadership desperately seeks new strategies and technologies to deal with such national security cases. The most challenging task for German law enforcement agencies is to identity the perpetrators from innocents before they can cause more violence in the society. Till now, law enforcement agencies depend on existing conventional investigative tools like an interrogation and polygraph to gain specific intelligence, but such tools haven’t provided useful results.
AfD explosion case demonstrates precisely why law enforcement agencies immediately need an advanced neuroscience based forensic technology that can identity the perpetrators behind such politically motivated violence within a short period of time with maximum accuracy. Thankfully, one such a technology already exists in the security market that addresses this fundamental problem of identifying the perpetrator from innocents. Such a technology is developed and designed by Brainwave Science and it’s called iCognative. This technology will not only help the law enforcement personnel bring down extremists but also support the personnel to find suitable evidence to prosecute them.
iCognative guarantees a high success rate and results. This technology provides the scientific and legal way for law enforcement personnel to tap inside the human brain and reveals what specific crime-related information he or she possesses with over 99% accuracy. iCognative is a one-of-a-kind technology that is based on the scientifically proven and approved P300 and P300-MERMER brain responses, which only activates when a suspect sees an information that his brain already possesses using a non-invasive proprietary headset to record brainwaves. iCognative assures law enforcement that their hard work and investigation in order to maintain peace won’t be neglected due to limited availability of evidence.
In this case, A 45-minutes iCognative test when utilized by German counter-terrorism unit on three potential suspects would reveal their connection with the crime and further provide accurate intelligence such as identification of the associated party or group, name and pictures of members, details of future plans, financial details, source through which they are being radicalized, medium to communicate, identification of mastermind and key members, involvement in past crime, etc. would be easily available to the counter-terrorism personnel to investigative in the right direction once the test is completed. iCognative can also be used on the suspects related previous politically motivated crime including the recent cyber-crime where the existing crime-related information is present in the suspect’s brain. All the investigative details related to this case is uploaded into the iCognative system protocol. The system records and analyzes the brain responses when case related known and confidential information (called Stimuli) is flashed to the suspect on a digital screen and determines with nearly 100% accuracy whether potential suspects possesses specific crime-related information or not.
Brainwave Science’s iCognative can support German government and law enforcement agencies in such a crucial time when they are stuck in political instability and violence. iCognative goal is to eradicate violence in any form from the globe therefore with its remarkable ability to quickly and accurately identify missing links, iCognative effectively brings resolution in very pertinent cases which would have otherwise jeopardized national security interests.
