South African boy stabbed to death in school toilet: Brainwave Science

SITUATION

A young South African has been stabbed multiple times at a school in the North West allegedly by a 17-year-old teenager from another school. The police believe the alleged perpetrator has been in a relationship with the victim’s older sister.

The local education authority said in a statement that the suspect apparently slept in the toilet overnight without anyone knowing he was there. The deceased was one of the first to use the restroom when he stabbed the victim who was taken to a local clinic, but medics could not save his life.

It is rumored the couple may have had a fallout and the alleged perpetrator targeted the young brother as a revenge. However, police are carrying out further investigations at the primary school in Makapanstad in North-West province of South Africa.

In September this year, Math’s teacher Gadimang Mokolobate, 24, was stabbed to death allegedly by a 17-year-old pupil in a classroom in North-West province.

CHALLENGE

The horrific death of a 7-year-old boy has thrust the issue of school safety back in the limelight with appeals for tighter security and greater accountability. South African schools have seen several violent incidents this year. Ranging from pupils attacking each other to pupils attacking teachers, and communities shutting down schools.

South Africa’s latest police crime statistics stated the country is on the verge of a war zone. There are 52 attempted murders,110 rapes and 61 violent robberies per day on average. These violence experiences attached to school have an extreme impact on children and on their development, parents are frightened about their children’s safety as it could be the last time, they see them. School stabbing has been the new trend around the world and the biggest challenge for law enforcement agencies.

Law Enforcement agencies are under inexorable pressure to produce swift and better result especially when it’s related to children’s safety and modern conventional investigative tools couldn’t provide any substantial evidence or connection to solve these crimes. As extracting accurate intelligence from an arrested perpetrator is the most difficult task for investigator as modern investigative technology does not support them in such crucial time. Law Enforcement personnel desperately need a tool which can support them to make objective decision with utmost accuracy, in order to prevent future crime and safeguard lives.

WHY BRAIN FINGERPRINTING?

The Violence still continues in a place where students are supposed to get an education, but instead, get murdered. In this or frequently in all cases, the favorite choice of weapons is a “knife” which demonstrate that if a perpetrator wants to commit a crime, he/she will find one way or another. As school violence has been heightening, therefore, it is necessary for law enforcement personnel to diagnose the cause before they weed out the problem.

South African Police Service need a fool-proof advanced technology which is applicable to different types of investigating scenarios including this one and guarantees positive accurate results. Such a technology has been developed by Brainwave Science and it’s called Brain Fingerprinting.  It is the most suitable neuroscience-based forensic technology that can support law enforcement agencies to obtain impeccably accurate information from the alleged perpetrator’s brain.  Brain Fingerprinting helps investigators tap inside the suspect’s brain and reveal what specific crime-related information he or she possesses and provide intelligence and missing links or connection to investigate the cause of this problem.

In the recent knife attack case, if the arrested suspect is made to undergo a 45-minutes Brain Fingerprinting test, it can help the law enforcement personnel to determine whether he possesses crime-related information and what specific information he is trying to conceal from the investigator. Once all case-related information gathered through investigation is uploaded into the Brain Fingerprinting system protocol. The system records and analyzes the brain responses via upgraded proprietary headset when confidential stimuli are flashed to the suspect on a digital screen. With over 99% accuracy Brain Fingerprinting technology determines if a suspect possesses specific crime-related information or not.

The power of Brain Fingerprinting technology provides law enforcement personnel with a weapon that can stop a crime before it occurs and identify the perpetrator from innocents. Brainwave Science’s Brain Fingerprinting is the last possible hope for South African Police Service to decrease the crime rate and protect thousands of innocent lives.
