FBI arrests Hasher Jallal Taheb – a Georgia man plotting to attack the White House

US federal agency FBI arrested a 21-year-old Georgia man in a sting operation who had detailed plans to use an anti-tank rocket and explosives to storm into the White House and “do as much damage as possible”. The suspect who supported Islamic State, traded his car for an anti-tank rocket, guns and explosives in order to carry out an attack in the United States.
The FBI set up the sting after a local law enforcement agency notified the Federal agencies that Hasher Jallal Taheb, 21, of Cumming, had “become radicalized”, changed his name and planned to travel abroad for “Hijra”- travelling to territory controlled by the Islamic State. According to a confidential FBI source, Taheb described to an undercover FBI agent that he wanted to “blow a hole in the White House” so he could enter and attack the officials with guns and grenades.
Taheb met with the undercover FBI agents and the FBI source multiple times and were in frequent contact using an encrypted messaging application.
According to an FBI agent’s affidavit filed in court, Taheb “explained that jihad was an obligation, that he wanted to do as much damage as possible, and that he expected to be a ‘martyr’.” The affidavit says Taheb possess a hand-drawn diagram of the ground of the West Wing of the White House.
Taheb told the undercover agent he wanted to record a video to radicalize youth around the world. He stated he would be the narrator, clips of oppressed Muslims would be shown, and American and Israeli flags would be burned in the background. According to the investigators, Taheb wanted to pick up weapons this week and drive directly to Washington to carry out the attack.
Special Agent in Charge Chris Hacker, with the FBI’s Atlanta field office, said they believe Taheb acted on his own, but an investigation is ongoing.
The threat posed by homegrown radicalized individual to the National Security of United States and other countries around the globe has become a biggest challenge for the National Security forces. These homegrown violent extremists who act in small groups or as lone offenders are difficult to be tracked or identified. It is a fact that we, as a human society, are more radical now than we were before.
Post 9/11, foreign terrorism organization such as al-Qaida or ISIS may find it extremely difficult to infiltrate the US borders and plan another terrorist attack. However, they found a substitute to this complication- “radicalized locals and plan an attack”.
The US-led coalition against Middle East terror groups claimed Islamic States is virtually overthrown, but they operate in more than 18 countries and still remains the biggest concern and a headache for the National Security agencies and personnel fighting terrorism within the United States. The US youth in the vast majority are being radicalize by ISIS handlers and made to follow orders from ISIS leader al-Baghdadi who recently urged supported to carry out mass attack in US, Canada and other Western countries. Pittsburgh Synagogue massacre is the latest case of radicalization by ISIS leader.
According to Homeland Security (DHS) 2017 report, “most foreign-born, US-based violent extremists like radicalized several years after their entry to the United States.”
This is a war between peace and violence, good and bad where proper strategy and resources are desperately needed to defeat the violence once and for all. Terrorist groups have found loopholes within the existing US counterterrorism strategies. These evil groups recommended wannabe jihadists consider car ramming, mass shooting or mass knife attacks as a particularly effective terrorist tactic.
US National Security agencies rely on heavy intelligence in order to identify the terrorists within the States. The “sting” operations are a lengthy process which occupies the federal resources on a single picture while the mastermind finds another lone wolf and plan another attack simultaneously. The existing conventional intelligence gathering tools aren’t effective enough to observe mass radicalization in such technology-advanced world.
WHY BRAIN FINGERPRINTING?
It is understood that the United States government and law enforcement agencies have become increasingly concerned with the spread and influence of Islamic radicalization amongst US citizens. Many homegrown individuals are acting intended to harm Americans and American interests domestically or abroad.
Taheb’s case demonstrates precisely why US National Security forces must focus not only arresting terrorists or thwarting terror attacks but also find the permanent solution to these recurring threats from radicalized homegrown citizens. Thankfully, one such a technology already exists in the security market that addresses this fundamental problem of identifying the potential terrorists from innocents. The technology is developed and designed by Brainwave Science and it’s called Brain Fingerprinting. This technology aims to identify the potential threats and reveal the truth/connection through the power of brainwaves and eliminate any possibility of human error or inhumane intelligence gathering methods.
Brain Fingerprinting technology can reveal all the connections and identify the involved accomplice in this case and further support law enforcement personnel to gather intelligence about the mastermind and handlers with over 99% accuracy within a short time frame. Brain Fingerprinting provides a scientific solution as well as a legal way for law enforcement personnel to tap inside the human brain and reveals what specific crime-related information he or she possesses with over 99% accuracy. This technology assures law enforcement that their hard work and investigation won’t be neglected due to limited availability of evidence or intelligence.
Brain Fingerprinting is the only technology that guarantees a high success rate and results in such National Security cases as it is based on scientifically proven and accepted P300 and P300-MERMER brain responses, which accurately determine whether a suspect’s brain possesses specific crime-related information or not by using a non-invasive proprietary headset to record and analyze brainwaves. In this case, a 45-minutes Brain Fingerprinting test when utilized by FBI and other law enforcement agencies on Hasher Jallal Taheb would reveal his connection to known and unknown terrorist organization and further provide accurate intelligence such as how was he radicalized, any accomplice involved, who planned the attack, any known radicalized group, medium to communicate, identification of mastermind and key members, any knowledge about future attack on US soil, etc., would be easily available to the National Security personnel to investigate this case in the right direction once the test is completed. All the investigative details related to this case and previous radicalized cases including the one in question are uploaded into the Brain Fingerprinting system test protocol. The system records and analyzes the brain responses when case related known and confidential information (called Stimuli) is flashed to the suspect on a digital screen and determines with over 99% accuracy what information Taheb possesses and is trying to conceal from the investigator.
Brainwave Science’s Brain Fingerprinting recognizes and respects the efforts of law enforcement personnel to maintain peace within the country. Brain Fingerprinting very well understands the radicalization problem, therefore provides the desired key to eliminate this plague and protect citizens from suffering.
