December 13, 2018: Persons arrested in Indonesia face execution if convicted for smuggling drugs

SITUATION    Five foreigners have been arrested for alleged drug smuggling on the tourist island of Bali since the end of November. They face the death penalty if convicted. The citizens of Peru, Britain, China, Malaysia and Germany were paraded at a news conference on Thursday in Denpasar, the capital of Bali province. The suspects were arrested in five separate operations by customs and police since Nov. 30 in which 4 kilograms (8.8 pounds) of cocaine as well as marijuana, ecstasy and ketamine were seized. December 12, 2018: Tunisia arrests two Bosnians in 2016 killing of Hamas drone expert

SITUATION Two suspects were arrested on Tuesday, for the murder of a Hamas drone developer, named Mohammed al-Zoari in 2016. Alain Kamedi and Albert Sarak, entered Tunisia a week before carrying out the assassination. This event was planned 18 months in advance according to officials. No link has been established between the two Bosnian suspects and Israeli security services. December 12, 2018: Strasbourg Shooting: Terrorist attack shocks France’s famed Christmas market

SITUATION:  A gunman killed at least three people and wounded a dozen others at the famed Christmas market in the French city of Strasbourg before fleeing the scene, authorities said. SITUATION FBI arrested an Ohio man on terrorism charges for allegedly plotting to attack a synagogue in the Toledo, Ohio area, US. Damon M. Joseph, a 21-year-old, has been charged in federal court with attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State terror group, a designated foreign terrorist organization, plotting a terrorist attack.
