SITUATION According to officials, suspected militant opened fire on police personnel near Jhajjar Kotli on Jammu-Srinagar national highway on Wednesday. As a result of the attack, a 52-year-old civilian, identified as Ganesh Dass, an employee of the Sericulture Department, was injured. September 11, 2018: Interpol Breaks Up Human Trafficking Ring in Sudan

SITUATION Police in Sudan has rescued 94 victims, 85 of them minors from criminal human trafficking networks operating in Sudan, Interpol has said.  Interpol in collaboration with Sudanese authorities broke up several human trafficking rings operating in Sudan in an Operation called Sawiyan that was conducted on August 26- 30. Twelve women and two men were arrested in the raid and $20,000 was seized.  The victims were found at several locations, including Khartoum's international airport and open-air gold mines. September 10 2018, Paris knife attacks continue, 7 injured includes 2 British tourists

SITUATION A man wielding a knife and an iron bar attacked seven people including two British tourists in central Paris. Police arrested the suspect, whom they believed to be an Afghan national aged 31, after a group of people threw pétanque metal balls and overpowered him.
