MS-13 gang member caught traveling with migrant caravan: Brainwave Science

An active MS-13 gang member arrested by U.S. Border Patrol who revealed that he joined a caravan of Central American migrants hoping to reach the border and illegally crossing into the United States.

Jose Villalobos-Jobel, a 29-year-old, was detained on November 24 after being spotted standing on the US side of the border east of the port of entry in Calexico, California. Customs and Border Protection agency stated that during the inquiry, Jobel admitted being a Honduran citizen and an active gang member of infamous Mara Salvatrucha 13, also known as MS-13, a transnational criminal organization. He traveled with one of the caravan groups and had intended to enter the country illegally after traveling to the U.S. with the caravan of thousands of other migrants.

In response to this event, The Department of Homeland Security declared that at least 600 convicted criminals were among the 10,000 caravan migrants. According to reports, 8,000 migrants are present at the US borders, waiting for asylum approval.

The US President Donald Trump has made MS-13 a priority in his crackdown on illegal immigration. Regarding the caravan, he earlier said, “You’re going to find MS-13, you’re going to find Middle Eastern, you’re going to find everything.” He further threatened to close the border permanently if Mexico does not help contain the wave of asylum seekers.

This isn’t the first episode when MS-13 member tried something like this. In April this year, another member, Herberth Geovani Argueta-Chavez, was arrested after illegally entering the US with a group suspected to be part of the caravan that headed for the US border. He posed as an unaccompanied minor before police discovered his identity.

Rising of the number of South American immigrants has become the latest challenge for the United States. Their recurring arrival is creating anxiety within the Trump administration, which pledged during the campaign to decrease immigration in order to sustain the American culture and economy.  President Trump lashed out at Central American countries in retaliation of arrival of the large number of migrants as countries specifically Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Mexico aren’t taking proper measures to stop the migrant caravan headed toward the US. He even threatened to dismantle the North American Free Trade Agreement and financial aid if necessary actions aren’t taken.

Irrespective of divided response regarding the migrants within the country where some believe “open border” is the solution to immigrant crisis in US, President Trump declared this immigration crisis as National Emergency as he suggested terrorists and criminals would use this opportunity to enter the States. Law Enforcement agencies along with Military has been deployed to the Borders.

The arrest of MS-13 gang member indicate that President Trump was right. According to reports, the apprehension of MS-13 gang members increased nearly 250 per cent during the first 10 months of FY 2018. An arrested MS-13 gang member revealed that dozen gangsters are hiding among the migrant caravan on way to US border, but important question is how to identify them all? It turns out to be the biggest challenge for Customs and Border Protection personnel to determine the criminals from the innocents. Border forces might be lucky this time where Jobel confessed his involvement beforehand but still they can’t determine how many more are still present in the caravan as they don’t possess any such information or technology that can tap inside a human brain and accurately reveal the true identity of a person without any necessity of background information or documents.

MS-13 gang member’s arrival demonstrates exactly why the US can’t afford an open border and an immediate demand of an advanced neuroscience forensic technology that can reveal the identity of the migrant within an hour is necessary. Thousands of migrants are being interviewed by Border security forces without any guarantee of accurate results. The existing conventional investigate tools cannot be fruitful in such cases as most of the migrants have no valid documentation or records. It is a dilemma for Border Security forces to identify them. With God’s grace, one such technology does already exist in the security market that addresses this fundamental problem, developed and designed by Brainwave Science and it’s called iCognative which can not only help identify the terrorists and criminals including MS-13 gang members but also provide immensely accurate intelligence and connections.

iCognative utilizes advancements made in the field of neuroscience and technology to enable a highly accurate identification of a person by distinguishing what he or she truly knows. iCognative provides a scientific way for Border Security forces to tap inside the migrant’s brain to identify the possession of a specific crime-related information, saving manpower, time and resources.

iCognative test can be conducted on a migrant without using any inhumane way such torture or trauma as used in various investigative process. The iCognative technology is based on the scientific proven and approved P300 and P300-MERMER brain responses, which accurately determine whether a suspect’s brain possesses specific information or not by using a non-invasive proprietary headset to record and analyze brainwaves. iCognative guarantees a high success rate and results as it involves no question answers, no false positives or false negatives and minimal possibility of error.

A 45-minutes iCognative test when utilized by U.S. Border Patrol agencies would reveal the true identity of the migrant and provide accurate intelligence and identification of MS-13 gang member in the caravan and within the country.  All the investigative details related to MS-13 gang along with other criminal organization is uploaded into the iCognative system protocol. The system records and analyzed the brainwave responses when confidential information is flashed to the suspect or migrants on a digital screen. With over 99% accuracy iCognative technology determine whether a migrant possesses specific crime-related information or not.

iCognative is the only technology provided by Brainwave Science that can support Border Security Forces in such crucial time when swift results are demanded by POTUS and infamous MS-13 gang member would try creative but illegal way to enter the United States. iCognative can be the best weapon for US government to crush illegal immigration without even considering to “build a wall”.
