Mass migration 'march': hundreds of Hondurans head for US border: Brainwave ScienceSITUATION

Hundreds of Honduran migrants headed to the U.S. border during ‘March of the Migrant,’ Officials claimed that at least 1,300 of migrants took part in the ‘march’. Among migrants, there were a lot of women and children attempting to seek asylum in the U.S. According to the media, Honduran migrants are escaping from extreme poverty and some of the world’s highest crime rates.

The organizer of the ‘march’ Bartolo Fuentes claimed that the group of migrants plans to march through Guatemala and into Mexico. In Mexico, participants are planning to request refugee status which can allow them to stay in the country. Besides, migrants plan also to apply for a visa to pass through into the U.S. The U.S. Embassy in Honduras said it was deeply worried about the group and that people were being given “false promises” of being able to enter the United States. The embassy said the situation in Honduras was improving.

The ‘March of the Migrant’ has started only after several days after Vice President of the U.S. Mike Pence had an official meeting with Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez, President Jimmy Morales of Guatemala and Vice President Oscar Ortiz of El Salvador. Pence addressed the three leaders on Thursday in Washington asking them to step up and help combat illegal immigration in return for help from the U.S.

The number of immigrants in the U.S. from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras rose by 25% from 2007 to 2015, in contrast to the more modest growth of the country’s overall foreign-born population and a decline from neighbouring Mexico. The Reuters reported that 64% of Honduran households live in poverty that has become a reason of the mass migration from the country. According to Vice President of the U.S. Pence, 61% of illegal immigrants from Honduras run away to the U.S.

The administration of President Trump proposed $460 million in assistance last year for migrants’ needs. This help is 30% less than what Congress approved in 2016 under President Barack Obama. As a result, mass migrations have become a growing problem at the U.S. border. Several months earlier, almost 200 migrants from Central America attempted to seek asylum in the U.S. after traveling with a caravan of over 1,000 migrants.

Rising of the number of immigrants from Honduras has become a new challenge for border security agents in the US. The Authorities look for new methods of providing the safety in borders for realizing the control on all possible levels. It is surely a challenge for law enforcement forces to follow through on U.S. President Donald Trump’s “zero tolerance” stance on illegal immigration, as people fleeing violence and poverty defy threats of deportation.

Brainwave Science has developed a technology that can specifically address this problem of border security for all nations. iCognative is one technology that can support US law enforcement agencies including Border Security Agents and The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement specifically screen who should be admitted to the US and who should not be.

In 21st century, iCognative offered only by Brainwave Science is an essential technology in the arsenal of every investigative agent. This extremely accurate technology can determine the fact of the presence of the information in the brain. With this technology, an investigator can find out if the suspect knows crime-related information or not. Regarding the problem of the rising of the illegal immigration on the U.S. borders, iCognative can help to determine who from those seeking refugee status really is a genuine applicant and deserves entrance into the country. With the power of brainwaves, US law enforcement can bar entry to criminals and gang members trying to take advantage of the situation disguised as refugees.

In order to conduct a iCognative test on a person of interest, investigators can use investigation details collected as Stimuli along with details from testimonies from the suspect himself/herself and others.  In an hour per suspect the technology will determine with 99% accuracy if the suspect . Words, phrases, or pictures relevant to a terrorist act, crime, terrorist training, or specific knowledge or expertise are presented on a computer screen, in a series with other, irrelevant words, phrases or pictures. iCognative is a user-friendly technology that is easy to operate without specific knowledge or skills.

With the use of iCognative, the work of the immigration agencies can be much simpler and easier. The technology can give them an opportunity to find potentially dangerous people before their entrance to the country is approved, thereby preventing future crimes and saving own citizens. Identifying criminals quickly and scientifically, iCognative is a powerful technology that can radically change the situation with migration control while protecting the rights of nations as well as with respect for human rights.
