SITUATION Five mosques in Birmingham have been targeted in a strand of violent attacks after having their windows shattered with sledgehammers on Thursday. This event is the latest in a spate of Islamophobia attack since Christchurch massacre. West Midlands Police and Counter-terrorism unit are investigating attacks on the place of worship. March 22, 2019: 75 year old woman held for fatally stabbing a 7-year-old in Basel

SITUATION A seven-year-old boy was stabbed on the way home from school in Basel City,  Switzerland. Prosecutors said a 75-year-old Swiss woman was arrested after she turned herself in for the "terrible" attack on Thursday afternoon. The primary school pupil was found alone on a street by a teacher and died of his injuries in hospital. A motive for the knife attack is not yet clear and police are calling for witnesses to come forward. March 22, 2019: Remorseless Boko Haram kills at least 23 Chadian Soldiers

SITUATION In an overnight murderous raid, Boko Haram militants killed at least 23 Chadian soldiers.  This is the deadliest such attack inside Chad by the Islamist insurgent group. For a decade, Boko Haram has been fighting to establish an Islamist caliphate in northeast Nigeria and has carried out regular raids over loosely guarded borders into neighbouring Chad, Niger and Cameroon. March 21, 2019: Smugglers in Speed boat with Electrical Goods worth HK$5 Million caught

SITUATION Hong Kong Customs officers apprehended HK$5 million worth of electrical goods from a speedboat. The officers chased the boat and caught up with it near Siu Sai Wan, on the north of Hong Kong Island, and found the batch of used smartphones and computer accessories. As recently as March 16, 2019, Hong Kong Customs seized about 3,200 suspected counterfeit goods with an estimated market value of about $520,000 at the Hong Kong Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB). SITUATION A drug gang attacked a convoy of trucks carrying nuclear fuel on a highway in Rio de Janeiro state on Tuesday. As the convoy drove past a community controlled by the drug gang,  armed men opened fire on the convoy.
