SITUATION A Traffic stop south of San Antonio, Texas, revealed a dangerous case of human smuggling. More than a dozen suspected victims of human smuggling were discovered inside a makeshift wooden container on a towing trailer during the search of the vehicle.Traffic 16 Mexican nationals including 4 women were found crammed inside the hidden compartment, which appeared to be made out of construction materials. May 21, 2019 : Lincoln human trafficking : 8 arrested

SITUATION Lincoln police arrested eight individuals in connection to a human trafficking case. Authorities are only identifying the men currently as the investigation continues. Police said Fernando Paz, 33, of Omaha was arrested for electronic child enticement after he communicated with an investigator online. The investigator posed as a 15-year-old girl and Paz agreed to travel to Lincoln to pay for sex with the minor. Police also arrested Matthew Turner, 49, of Lincoln on suspicion of soliciting a prostitute and Terry Williams, 36, of Lincoln, on suspicion of pandering and tampering with physical evidence. SITUATION Eight men have been arrested after NSW anti-terrorism detectives uncovered an organized crime syndicate operating in Sydney’s south-west which was allegedly importing illegal tobacco, supplying drugs and laundering money. The arrests of two men, aged 38 and 39, at Sydney Olympic Park about 8.15am today came as part of the Joint Strike Force DeHaan conducted by the NSW Police Force’s Terrorism Investigation Squad and investigators from the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC). SITUATION Muhlaysia Booker, 23, was found dead on a street on Saturday morning, and police are investigating the case as "homicidal violence". Police said it is unclear if her shooting was a hate crime or motivated by retaliation. Last month, Ms. Booker was assaulted during a traffic accident, which was filmed and shared on social media. SITUATION At least 32 people, including three prison guards and 29 inmates, have been killed in a high-security prison in Tajikistan after convicted Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS) fighters started a  prison riot.
