Krishna Ika (Founder & CEO)
Krishna Ika has founded and managed a wide range of companies; at heart, he is a serial entrepreneur and innovator. Mr. Ika founded Brainwave Science in 2012, where he serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Brainwave Science LLC. Previously, he is also the Founder and President of Government Works, an information technology company specializing in Federal and State government spaces. Through the years, Government Works has provided products and services to numerous U.S. Departments, including Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Department of Health and Human Services, and others. Prior to Government Works, he was the cofounder of ikaSystems, a leader in enterprise managed care, which raised over $140m in private equity funding. He also cofounded Envitec Corp, which was named the 34th fastest growing commercial consulting corporation in the New England area. He sits on the Board of Directors for RxAdvance, an innovative pharmacy benefit manager.
Dr. Thierry Mason (Chief Technology Officer)
Dr. Thierry Maison, Chief Technology Officer, oversees all technology operations, research and development, both onshore and offshore, for Brainwave Science LLC. Dr. Maison brings more than 35 years of engineering experience in the areas of telecommunications, medical imaging, information technology, and identity security and application infrastructures. Dr. Maison played an instrumental role in development of first body CT Scanner while at Analogic. The founder of Iron Bridge Networks and Sariga Networks, he developed the first very high-speed carrier grade internet router. Dr. Maison holds several patents, including one for a multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) protection system, and he developed the first dual-purpose TDM and Internet packet processor. Dr. Maison holds a Doctorate in engineering science and a Master’s Degree from the University of Strasbourg, France.
Dr. Srini Pillay (Advisory Board)
Srini Pillay, M.D. is CEO of NeuroBusiness Group – voted one of the top 20 movers and shakers in leadership development in the world, (Training Industry, 2013).
Dr. Pillay is a world-renowned brain-imaging expert; a Harvard trained psychiatrist, a psychopharmacologist and therapist. He is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry (Part-time) at Harvard Medical School. He has been a physician for 25 years, and was the former Director of the Outpatient Anxiety Disorders Program at McLean Hospital. Dr. Pillay teaches in Executive Education at Harvard Business School and Duke Corporate Education. He speaks on and teaches neuroscience throughout the US, Canada, London, Paris, Switzerland, India, Greece and Brazil. Itzhak Ilan (Advisory Board)
Itzhak Ilan is the former Deputy Director of the Israeli Security Agency (“Shin-Bet”), an organization that is equivalent to U.S’s Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Secret Service. Mr. Ilan held various senior intelligence positions and sensitive high-security clearance roles. Prior to being appointed as its Deputy Director, Mr. Ilan served as the Head of the Shin-Bet’s Foreign Division, Head of the Counter-Terrorism Division, and Head of the Interrogations Division. Mr. Ilan has vast experience in managing complex security and intelligence operations and addressing crisis situations.
As chief of the Shin-bet’s interrogations unit, Mr. Ilan was responsible for hunting down spies within the security apparatus, successfully catching Prisoner X2, the notorious double-agent inside the Mossad, the agency responsible primarily for overseas intelligence work. He was quickly named as a candidate to direct Malmab, the security unit within the Ministry of Defense. Ilan was director-designate for the Shin-bet, and the first director to rise through the ranks as an interrogator, to the top job.
Utilizing his vast skills gained from over 30 years in Israel’s top governmental security agency and his close cooperation with the Israeli Police and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Mr. Ilan provides high-level security services in various sectors, including terrorism prevention, suspect interrogations, counter-espionage & field investigations. He is also a renowned expert in polygraph examinations.
Mr. Ilan concurrently serves as a board member with specialized companies operating in the international arena.
