SITUATION ANALYSIS

The operation revealed a sophisticated drug trafficking network operating across multiple provinces. In North Aceh, police arrested AR, who served as a transporter and warehouse guard. They also issued warrants for five additional suspects: AN, LD, AD, ZF, and PN. These individuals controlled land and sea routes for smuggling. The police confiscated 50 kilograms of crystal meth in this part of the operation. Meanwhile, in Tangerang, investigators seized 107 kilograms of meth packed in green bags. The suspects TS, AS, and SR, acted as couriers and warehouse guards. Two more suspects, KR and BN, are still at large. This network used sea routes from Malaysia and Myanmar, storing the drugs in rented houses for distribution in Banten and Jakarta.

CHALLENGES

WHY iCOGNATIVE?

Authorities suspect that the individuals arrested in the drug trafficking ring have deep connections to organized crime networks. To confirm their involvement and gather reliable evidence, iCognative technology offers a revolutionary approach. By analyzing brainwave responses, this technology can accurately identify if suspects recognize specific details related to their criminal activities. Law enforcement can use iCognative to present suspects with stimuli directly connected to the crime, such as images of the seized crystal meth, financial documents, communications between syndicate members, or maps of trafficking routes. As suspects view or hear these stimuli, iCognative measures their brain activity. Consequently, recognition patterns in brain responses reveal whether suspects have knowledge of the crime, indicating their involvement.

By integrating iCognative technology, the National Police can significantly enhance their capability to dismantle the drug trafficking network. This method ensures a more accurate, reliable, and efficient investigation, providing much-needed closure to the community and potentially bringing justice to those responsible.
